Akwaaba (Welcome) Wellness offers Community Breastfeeding Support Groups once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. This is free to the public and the location is at a local city park. We also offer Virtual Breastfeeding Classes and Virtual Lactation Consultations. We have scholarships and use a sliding fee scale to determine your ability to pay. We offer a Free 15 minute lactation call to answer your quick questions.

Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for East Central Public Health Department. Coordinates WIC breastfeeding promotional activities, serves on CSRA Breastfeeding Coalition. Provides breastfeeding education and support to WIC Clients. Pump loans available to mothers returning to work or school, experiencing medical separations from infants, or breastfeeding problems where a pump may be warranted. Lactation consultations may be arranged by appointment only. WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselors offer breastfeeding encouragement and support through clinic visits, contacts by phone, text, or email and home or clinic visits to help with breastfeeding problems.

Comprehensive lactation support program for Berkshire County residents. Breastfeeding/childbirth classes, personalized consultations, in-person and virtual, curbside weight checks and milk transfer weights, playgroups, Teen to 23 Project, preemptive call program through 6 months, 7 day a week Breastfeeding/Parenting Support Line, staff lactation trainings. Services are funded through grants and fundraising with no charge to families.

Breastfeeding Support Group (free) - join our new mothers and learn about breastfeeding techniques, parenting issues, and how to prepare to return to work. No registration is required. Virtua Memorial Conference Center - every Wednesday 11:00 am-12:30 pm; Virtua Voorhees Garden Level Conference Center - every Wednesday 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Working Mom Survival Guice: Back to Work Support Group (free) - more than half of all new moms go back to work when their infants are younger than one year old. Bring your infant to our evening and afternoon support group where we will discuss balancinencg new schedules, breast or bottle feeding, and caring for yourself (young siblings are also welcome). Caring for Mamas provides birth and postpartum doula services to women in the Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire areas. Caring for Mamas also provides postnatal advocate services which include helping women with scheduling, meal prep, acquiring and vetting childcare services, and having all the tools they need to make the transition from maternity leave to the next phase of their postpartum journey.
