Wentworth-Douglass Hospital

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital provides prenatal consultation, inpatient and outpatient lactation services, and ongoing lactation support. The Lactation Consultants are available to provide assessment, education and support throughout the hospital including the Level II nursery, inpatient, outpatient departments including CHaD. A Prenatal Breastfeeding Class is offered monthly along with a weekly New Parent/Breastfeeding Support Group. Every mother and baby receives one home visit by a visiting nurse.
