I am an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in West Roxbury, MA providing in-home lactation consultations, comprehensive feeding assessments, telehealth, prenatal counseling and follow-up support services to the Greater Boston area. I can travel to you and work with you within the comfort of your own home or provide telemedicine services when case appropriate. IBCLC-certified since 2009, I have extensive experience in clinical lactation case management covering the full range of lactation-related challenges. My goal is to provide each of my clients with evidence-based information and experience-guided support that empowers them to make informed feeding decisions that make sense for their unique situation. I am part teacher, coach, milk-nerd, pump-geek, therapist, confidant, cheerleader and comedian. I want to be your lactation lifeline providing support to get things launched, find your balance; and, when you and your small person are ready, wind things down with dignity, grace and health. I have a special interest in cases involving LGBTQ+ families (I am a rainbow unicorn myself) and parental anxiety and welcome all family constellations at any age/stage of their lactation journey.
I specialize in maternal and child health with a special focus on baby AND mommy wellness. I am highly skilled in helping families reach a variety of feeding goals and creating sustainable solutions to infrequent or persistent challenges. I am here for you if you need help with latch, sore nipples, tongue/lip tie, mastitis, thrush, slow weight gain, undersupply/oversupply, pumping, transitioning back to work, weaning, starting solids, prenatal and postpartum nutrition and wellness, and complicated pregnancies such as preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. I offer office, Telehealth and home visits (will travel all over the North Shore). I look forward to providing personalized and effective care for you and your little one(s).
