Breastfeeding has many benefits for both babies and their mothers. Even though breastfeeding is a natural process, it’s not always easy. Many mothers need extra help getting started and support after they return home from the hospital. UCHealth is committed to helping you successfully breastfeed your baby. Services provided: Expert guidance from board-certified lactation consultants (inpatient and outpatient). Parenting and breastfeeding classes (pre-delivery), and a weekly virtual new parent support group. Services are offered through both Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North.
